Developing the next generation of leaders and foreign policy experts.
THIRD ANNUAL ONERO GALA:
The Third Annal Onero Gala happened on November 17th at the Elliott School of International Affairs City View Room. Proceeds from the event contributed to programming and educational opportunities for young professionals pursuing careers in international relations and diplomacy.
We honored Gerardo Berthin, Vice President of International Programs at Freedom House, with Onero’s Bridge Award for his dedicated service to protecting internet freedom and access worldwide, and for helping inspire the next generation of leaders in the realm of international relations.
Who Are We?
The Onero Institute is a youth-driven, nonprofit research organization that seeks to develop the next generation of leaders and foreign affairs experts by bridging the divide between young people and the professional community and by creating an intergenerational space that elevates the role of youth in engaging with international issues.
We hope to help build a future in which young people feel confident in their ability to create positive change, they seek to fully understand the world and its challenges, and the voices of young global citizens are respected and accepted.
Onero also helps young scholars acquire skills in areas such as writing, critical thinking, problem solving, and global awareness all of which are necessary for shaping the next generations of leaders.
The Onero Institute is a global project that welcomes members from around the world. We believe that global cooperation improves the quality of our content, strengthens understanding between individuals and cultures, and allows us to better approach the great challenges of the modern era.
